Arete Asset Management, LLC is an independently owned, registered investment advisor that manages equity portfolios for individuals and institutions. The company is operated by its majority owner, David Robertson, CFA. Mr. Robertson founded the business in 2008 to fulfill his vision of creating a money management firm very purely focused on delivering investment performance while at the same time providing a compelling value proposition to its clients. This vision involves systematically avoiding conflicts of interest and other structural and organizational issues that can compromise the quality of delivered products. The firm focuses on developing products for which ample opportunities exist to exploit market inefficiencies and currently offers a U.S. Equity Mid Cap Core portfolio.
